Money Making Websites
Make some extra cash with these websites!
Take Surveys
Taking surveys is (in my opinion) the EASIEST ways to make extra cash. You can do it from your computer, phone, or tablet, and there’s usually no shortage of surveys to take.
Here are my favorite websites for surveys:
Survey Junkie
Survey Junkie is one of the best survey websites, period. They always have surveys available, and you can get surveys that pay up to $75. Survey Junkie is open to everyone aged 13+ who live in the US, Canada, or Australia!
You can see my full review here.
LifePoints
LifePoints is one of the few survey websites that actually has a mobile app, which makes taking surveys on your phone so much easier! LifePoints is open to residents of the US!
SpringBoard America
I love SpringBoard America for the amount of surveys that are always available – there’s always tons to take!
Level Up Your Money
Get Money Back Using Trim
Trim is a neat little service that can help you save money in almost every part of your financial life. The first thing it does is track your spending – hen it helps you lower your bills by negotiating your cable / internet bills, and then it finds and cancels your unwanted subscriptions. It can also help you create a debt payoff plan and automate your spending! The best part is, you can sign up for Trim for free!
Invest Your Spare Change With Acorns
You probably use your credit or debit card at least once a day, right? What if you could round up the purchase to the nearest dollar and invest that change?
That’s what Acorns does!
Acorns invests your spare change into a portfolio for your future! You can also set up recurring investments and you can always do a one-time deposit (anytime you want!).
Lower The Fees Eating Away At Your 401(k) With Blooom
Okay hear me out for a second. I know this isn’t the coolest way to make some extra money, but it is important. Usually 401(k) plans put people into funds that have high fees, and usually don’t give you the proper diversification – which could cost you hundreds of thousands of dollars in the long run.
I personally use Blooom to help.
Blooom makes sure I’m making the most out of my 401(k) by making sure I’m in a properly diversified portfolio with low fees. You can get your 401(k) analyzed for free.
Sign-Up Bonuses (Quick Cash)
These are awesome websites that have signup bonuses and also give you money for doing things you ALREADY do (like shopping!).
$10 Signup Bonus On Ebates (Rakuten)
Ebates is the website I use everytime I shop online. They almost always have the highest cashback amount for where I’m shopping, and they usually have some double cashback deal going on!
iBotta
iBotta is what I use when shopping for groceries each week. They have different “offers” for different products that you may be interested in. You just add the offer, go and shop for the item, then you scan your receipt and you’ll get cashback!
Side Hustles
These are side hustles that require leaving your house (keep scrolling for work from home jobs!).
Deliver Things To People
If you have a car and aren’t too interested in giving rides to people, you can make some extra money by delivering things to people. Most of these will show you exactly how much you will make for the delivery (minus tip), so if you want to maximize your earnings, I suggest signing up for all of these programs and just taking the deliveries that will give you the most money when you want to take some deliveries.
DoorDash
DoorDash is a food delivery service that operates in a lot of metro areas! If you have a car, are 18 or older, don’t have any major violations, and no more than 3 accidents in the last 3 years, then you’re eligible to become a DoorDash!
Make Money Delivering with Uber
You can also deliver food through the UberEats program!
Work From Home Jobs
These are work from home jobs that can give you a full time income. You can get started with most of these on your own, but I do suggest taking a course or joining a group just so you can make sure you’re going in the right direction!
Become A Freelance Writer
If you like writing you could easily make a career out of it. People can (and will!) pay you for writing articles, blog posts, sales copy, even tweets! If you’re interested in learning how to become a freelance writer, check out this article from the Horkey HandBook, How to Become a Freelance Writer. If you’d like to see what niches you can write about check out this list of 200+ Writing Niches.
Become A Virtual Assistant
Virtual assistants help bloggers, businesses, even just regular people with day to day tasks. If you have graphic design, social media, bookkeeping, content creation, or customer service skills (or are willing to learn!), then you’d be a perfect fit for being a virtual assistant. Virtual assistants can make anywhere from $35-$60 an hour depending on what services they offer. Not sure if this is right for you? Check out this list of 150+ Virtual Assistant services.
Become A Proofreader
If you have great attention to detail, and have a good grasp of grammar then I highly suggest looking into becoming a proofreader. This is a job that can be done anywhere in the world, and is very in demand – (I’ve hired a proofreader for some of my blog posts!).
If you’re interested in learning more about proofreading and becoming a proofreader, Caitlin from Proofread Anywhere has a free webinar all about it!
Summary – Make $100 Fast
Hopefully this list gave you some ideas about how you can make a bit of extra money this week!
Even if you don’t “need” $100 quickly, you should give some of these things a try anyway.
You can put the extra money towards paying off debt, beefing up your emergency fund, or saving for retirement!
